Our subscription puts Habitat's freshly roasted whole bean coffee on your schedule — delivered weekly, every other week, or once a month, depending on how fast you drink. You pick the frequency. On the next screen, you choose the amount. We handle the rest.
Every delivery is roasted close to your ship date. We're not pulling bags off a warehouse shelf. This is coffee that's actually fresh — and fresh coffee tastes noticeably better. If you've only ever had grocery store beans, you'll notice the difference the first morning.
Not sure which frequency to pick? Most people find every other week hits the sweet spot. But if you drink two or three cups a day, weekly is worth it.

Unless you choose a specific coffee at checkout, you'll receive our Roaster's Choice — meaning we pick what we think is best that week from our current lineup. If you have a preference (single origin, a specific blend, light vs. dark), just let us know via the order notes and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Yes. At checkout you can specify a coffee, or leave it to us. We're also happy to rotate through the lineup if you want to try something different each delivery.

Very. We roast close to your ship date so you're not getting coffee that's been sitting around. For most coffees, we recommend waiting a few days after roast before brewing — the flavors open up. Our Wush Wush Ethiopia is the exception; we intentionally ship it at least two weeks post-roast because that's when it peaks.

No. You can cancel after your first delivery if you want. We'd rather you subscribe because you love the coffee than because you feel locked in.
